چکیده
Due to a surge in demand and cost, there is requirement for alternative energy sources by devising strategies the efficient production of biofuels. Immobilized microbial systems conversion biomass fuels have become progressively important. Cassava (Manihot esculentum) processing waste, massive byproduct starch utilized this work bioethanol production. This study was an attempt design develop experimental lab-scale Vertical Mass-Flow type Bioreactor (VMFB) demarcated into aerobic anaerobic zones produce bioethanol. The upper zone meant saccharification lower fermentation, technique called Simultaneous Saccharification Fermentation (SSF). feasibility co-immobilizing strains (A. awamori D. bruxellensis) fermentation (Z. mobilis) through SSF from cassava agro-waste were tested. Polyurethane foam used reaction calcium-alginate beads immobilized microorganisms employed as carriers immobilization. main objective understand usability agricultural especially waste raw material production, using technology concentration 8 % w/w ethanol obtained.

Broomcorn seed (Sorghum vulgare) was used as raw material for bioethanol production. Optimum conditions were obtained from response surface method. Broomcorn seed flour (45 g/l) was treated by alkaline treatment and dual enzymatic hydrolysis (0.7 g/l of α- amylase and 0.42 g/l of amyloglucosidase). The hydrolyzed total sugar of 25.5 g/L was used in conventional bioethanol production (8.1 g/l) u...

UNLABELLED BACKGROUND While the ethanol production from biomass by consolidated bioprocess (CBP) is considered to be the most ideal process, simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) is the most appropriate strategy in practice. In this study, one-pot bioethanol production, including cellulase production, saccharification of cellulose, and ethanol production, was investigated for ...

متن کاملWaste Paper - Promissing Feedstock for Bioethanol Production
Modern approach to utilization of non-edible biomass is its conversion to glucose, and the following fermentation of the sugar into final bioproducts. Among various biomass types, the waste of office paper is distinguished by increased content of cellulose and negligible content of lignin; therefore it can be a suitable feedstock for bioconversion into valuable bioproduct, e.g. ethanol. An adva...
متن کاملBiogas Production from Citrus Waste by Membrane Bioreactor
Rapid acidification and inhibition by d-limonene are major challenges of biogas production from citrus waste. As limonene is a hydrophobic chemical, this challenge was encountered using hydrophilic polyvinylidine difluoride (PVDF) membranes in a biogas reactor. The more sensitive methane-producing archaea were encapsulated in the membranes, while freely suspended digesting bacteria were present...
